Cam Anh Nguyen is a watercolor illustrator. She creates a loving world grounded in nature, and seeks to resonate deeply with viewers.

Her portfolio includes work for VNA Heritage Magazine, Animals Asia, Red Cross Vietnam, Kim Dong Publishing House, and numerous private commissions. Cam Anh's work has been displayed at Goethe Institut Hanoi, The Royal Over-Seas League London, and Manchester School of Art’s Vertical Gallery.

Currently residing in Vietnam with her family and three cats, Cam Anh spends her free time drawing short comics in the 4 KOMA manga style, reflecting her thoughts and daily life with her loved ones.

Red is Luck (2019)

The painting focuses on red, considered a lucky color in Vietnamese culture. The more I became aware of animal welfare issues, the more I realized that what we humans celebrate and consider ‘luck’ could be precisely the worst nightmare for animals.
